Maeve has worked with adolescents facing a myriad of concerns, including eating disorders, anxiety, ADHD, depression, suicidality, self harming, sexual assault/abuse, trauma, grief, substance use and attachment issues. Maeve is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and uses a client centered approach, working to ensure that each individual feels empowered to identify what healing and health means for them, and to collaborate on a treatment plan that best fits their needs. It is Maeve’s belief that at the core of much suffering is the desire to be seen and loved as is, and to find acceptance of one’s own self. Maeve makes it a priority to build a sense of safety and relationship so that deeper work becomes possible and continues to collaborate and re-evaluate to ensure that needs are being met.
